Really delicious lower carb sushi style tuna with a fab dressing to have with ginger and wasabi. Takes about 5 minutes to make and there’s no cooking. Perfect if you fancy sushi and you don’t want the carbs.
Very fresh tuna steaks
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil
A handful of finely chopped spinach
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (I use black)
Pepper to taste
Mix the oils, soya sauce and maple syrup with a grinding of pepper.
Thinly slice the tuna steaks and lay on a plate.
Sprinkle on the spinach and sesame seeds, then pour over the dressing.
Serve straight away with the wasabi and ginger.
